TikTok exploded during quarantine – in direct contrast to the crash in men’s personal hygiene. So to launch a new line of Method Men’s grooming products we asked 13 of our favorite TikTokkers to “come clean about their grooming habits, or lack thereof”.
We worked with TikTok star James Henry to create a live virtual comedy special: The Great Grooming Confessional. Press were invited to attend a “virtual comedy club”, mailed a gift kit in advance along with a custom viewing URL. Henry performed skits and hosted interviews with friends and family about his own grooming mishaps, and responded to bad grooming habits submitted by attendees. The event was later shared with Henry’s fans and the public.
