Confronted with stay at home orders in 2020, Spotify needed to reimagine the Co.Lab event program. Imprint Projects saw this as an opportunity to continue its support of working musicians, while scaling the platform in size and global reach. We introduced Spotify Co.Lab Sessions, a week-long digital-first experience providing insider tips and tricks to emerging artists. Thousands of virtual attendees from around the world listened to one-on-one conversations with artists such as H.E.R., Robin Pecknold (Fleet Foxes), and Colin Tilley. Attendees were given customized worksheets with presentation highlights and actionable guides. Recordings from each session were mixed and edited into easily digestible podcast episodes to serve as an evergreen on-demand resource for artists on Spotify.
