“Sound Affects: Music and Mood” was an installation translating emotions into musical and physical spaces. The sculptural and projected abstract shapes and textures were designed in collaboration with P-A-T-T-E-R-N-S and projection artist Jem the Misfit, with a sonic landscape created by tUnE-yArDs and Jon Bernson. Imprint Projects hosted an experimental workshop with UCLA | Sci Center and a panel discussion celebrating iconic films scores with Steve Nalepa of The Acid, music supervisor for Breaking Bad and Walking Dead Thomas Golubic, and Jonathan Rubnick of SCORED.
Sound Affects demonstrates just how fundamentally affected we humans are by the sounds we listen to.
