For the third seasonal campaign led by Imprint Projects, Levi’s Skateboarding collaborated with the community of Town Park in West Oakland to transform their local skate park. Imprint Projects developed the program, from communications strategy to community relations and creative partnerships. A documentary about the park and its importance to local skaters focuses on two young locals, and serves as the centerpiece for a range of brand content, product photography and advertising material.
Working alongside the community who use it every day Town Park endeavored to establish a safe, common ground for Oakland’s youth; a space they could take ownership of.
To celebrate the launch of the documentary and opening of Town Park, screenings were held in Brooklyn, Los Angeles and Oakland bringing together skateboarders and the local community.
