Skateboarding in Pine Ridge — Levi's 2015
Imprint Projects worked with Levi's Skateboarding to build skateparks and empower the Oglala Lakota youth of the Pine Ridge reservation in South Dakota. It was a true collaboration headed by The Stronghold Society, with the Vitalogy Foundation and Wounded Knee Skateboards. An award-winning documentary tells a story of dire circumstance, and hope, for the reservation youth, now called the “generation of the skatepark.” To celebrate the release of the film, screenings were held around the USA including the Indigenous Film and Arts Festival. Photographs and additional short-form video of the Levi's Skateboarding team in Pine Ridge form a meaningful campaign story.
