SF Launch — Alternative Apparel 2014
Imprint Projects introduced Alternative to San Francisco, and helped open their first store in the city with a suite of cultural programs and community gatherings. Events highlighted the brand's interest in design, technology, and food: a community bike ride, an intimate dinner with chef Aaron London, and a blowout opening party in the store. This edition of Alternative Grants invited innovators in design and technology to share their projects and compete for a membership at SF Tech Shop. The grant recipient was local engineer, Aaron Rowley, and his 3D textile printer called The Electroloom.
