Account Director

Our company develops innovative brand platforms for marketing and communications. We work as artists, designers and curators in partnership with non-profits, businesses and communities.

We are seeking an Account Director to lead clients relationships and project teams on a range of creative marketing campaigns. The Account Director must be experienced and excited about stewarding experiential, print, social/digital and content productions.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years experience working as a Account Lead or Senior Creative Producer within a fast-paced advertising or marketing context.

Responsibilities

  • Manage agency services for key clients as the face of Imprint Projects, meet client needs and achieve business objectives
  • Lead and oversee multiple clients, projects and teams to execute the level of work we are known for
  • Respond to client feedback and steward the creative integrity of projects from development through to execution
  • Manage the development and creation of project documents including strategy, proposals, plans and recap documents
  • Build, present and negotiate project budgets with clients
  • Track and present project budget actuals internally
  • Oversee project schedules and production plans that meet client’s goals
  • Oversee weekly client and internal project/production status reports
  • Support General Manager in developing new business, identify opportunities for account growth with current and potential clients
  • Manage and mentor junior account team, direct reports and foster relationships with freelance personnel
  • Assist recruiting and management of contractors and vendors, maintain ongoing relationships
  • Collaborate with General Manager to identify long-/short-term project needs and personnel resources
  • Lead updates to project teams and clients around industry trends and best practices
  • Participate in Company’s annual review process and ensure a climate for growth and education
  • Steward the philosophical integrity of the Imprint Projects brand, enforcing consistency and excellence across all managed projects

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as an Account Director or Senior Producer in an agency context
  • Proven success as a manager and a team-builder among partners, clients and staff
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in experience design, digital technology and content production
  • Excellent writing, document preparation and presentation skills
  • Experience in contract negotiation and meeting client requirements
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting on progress
  • Experience leading or participating in employee performance evaluations and reviews
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with aptitude in fostering long-term relationships
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership capabilities
  • Working knowledge of Google Apps, Basecamp, Smartsheets, Harvest and Adobe Creative Suite
